West Lynchburg Baptist Church is a growing, theologically conservative, 120-year-old Southern Baptist church in Lynchburg, VA, with an average attendance of 300. We are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Worship and Connections.

Worship

We are seeking an experienced individual to provide vision and leadership for all aspects of corporate worship. This includes leading robust worship services with a blend of modern arrangements of hymns and contemporary music while developing teams of singers, instrumentalists, and audio/visual techs to cultivate a worship culture that engages the church and reaches the community with the hope of the gospel. Candidates should have experience in leading a choir, orchestra, and band.

Connections

The Connection’s role involves overseeing and developing relational connections for the purpose of belonging, involvement, and spiritual growth. The connections include Community groups, Discipleship Ministries, and Service Opportunities.
 
Candidates must be ordained or willing and qualified to go through the ordination process soon after hire. We look forward to hearing from you. Please send a video link of you leading worship, along with your resume.
