- Are you zealous to see the next generation thrive?
- Are you burdened for the children growing up in your home, community, and church to trust in Christ?
- Do you wonder if you’re doing the right things to lead them to saving faith?
- Have you lost heart in your efforts to teach and guide the next generation?
- “Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.” (Romans 12:11)
The next generation needs parents, teachers, and church leaders who are zealous for their discipleship.

A vision for the next generations
Having a long-term vision is crucial for discipling children and youth. A vision-orientation considers where you are going—clarifying your goals—and then carefully develops and implements an intentional plan in pursuing those goals. By having a long-term vision, you can more effectively develop a discipleship strategy that evaluates every program, activity, curriculum, and resource in terms of this greater vision.
